I was fortunate enough to be the Art Director for all three of these videos for Novembers Doom. The firs video"Autumn Reflection was largely based on the album artwork. I ran the Art Department, built the sets, created miniatures, created all of the composite effects.
While the first video was a full film production, we took a more experimental approach fore the second chapter. . I made most of the sets from hanging large strips of tattered plastic and recycled materials.
Beautiful and Heart breaking. All the way through. A dramatically different approach. But the subject matter was way more dramatic and personal in this song.
This was a cancer treatment center in Gainesville Fl. They asked us to create a comforting mural that made this room feel less like a hospital room and more of a calming park environment. It needed to look the part but also being in a hospital environment it needs to be cleaned regularly . So we sculpted it . Painted it tin and epoxy coated it all so the cleaning crew could wipe it down and not change the finish on the art work.
This was the video I made for our production of St Pete Opera's "Elixir of Love" This shows my pre production planning, construction, paintings, and even our load out at the end of the job.

This was another hospital environment that needs to be half 2d painting and half extruding palms to make the effect feel more real.
I created this Booth for The Australian based company for their American conventions. I designed it. I built it. Set it up for them twice a year for the Orlando Surf Expo.
I love Futurama so much I began modeling my own version of the city of NNY. Is it art or is it a sign that I am, in fact insane. Maybe both. incidentally if I were to get a job modeling for a cartoon that would make my inner child extremely happy.
